Family Veterinary Care of Oakdale is looking for a passionate, motivated Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our privately owned, small-animal practice. We are a tight-knit team dedicated to serving the Oakdale community with excellence in general practice, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care.
The Role: Clinical Support & Patient Advocacy
In this role, you will be right in the heart of the action, working closely with our doctors to provide top-tier care to our canine and feline patients.
Your Daily Impact:
Comprehensive Care: Assist doctors with routine wellness appointments, urgent care triaging, and diagnostic workups.
Specialized Procedures: Play an active role in our surgical and dentistry suites, assisting with prep, monitoring, and recovery.
In-House Diagnostics: Utilize our IDEXX laboratory equipment to provide fast, accurate results for our clients.
Communication: Act as a bridge between our doctors and clients, helping to educate pet owners on their pets’ health and treatment plans.
Practice Flow: Work seamlessly within our ezyVet software system to maintain accurate medical records and keep the day running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in a veterinary setting (entry level is ok for the right candidate). Whether you’re a newer assistant looking to level up or an experienced tech seeking a better culture, we want to hear from you!
Skills:Proficiency in restraint, blood draws, pharmacy, and surgical assistance.
Vibe: A positive attitude, a “team-first” mentality, and a genuine love for animals and the people who care for them.

Saturdays: Rotating half-day shifts only.
