Today, that legacy continues under the ownership of Dr. Ram Singh and his wife, Mary Wurst. As a privately owned and family-run veterinary practice, we are proud to offer personal, steady, relationship-based care in a community that values local businesses, familiar faces, and people who take pride in their work.
Our story is rooted in Oakdale, but it continues to grow with every patient we meet, every client we help, and every team member who brings their skill and compassion to this hospital.

Family Veterinary Care of Oakdale has been a trusted part of the community since Dr. Tanner first built and opened the practice. Over the years, the hospital became a familiar place for generations of local pet owners seeking dependable veterinary care close to home.
When Dr. Singh took ownership, the goal was not to replace that history. It was to honor it, continue it, and help the practice grow in ways that serve today’s pets and families well.
