Chris joined the team at Family Veterinary Care of Oakdale in July 2023, bringing over a decade of experience and a deep dedication to veterinary medicine. Chris began her career in human medicine but soon discovered her true passion was caring for animals, which led her to transition into veterinary medicine in 2007.

She began her veterinary career in general practice while working toward her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license, which she proudly earned in 2013. Over the years, Chris has developed extensive clinical experience and strong technical skills, including six years working in emergency veterinary medicine. She continues to work part-time in emergency medicine, allowing her to maintain her advanced skills in critical care while bringing that valuable knowledge and experience to the patients she cares for every day.

Chris is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and takes pride in supporting both pets and their families. She values building trusting relationships with clients and helping pets live happy, healthy lives.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys crafting and spending time with family and her two dogs who keep her smiling every day—Toots, a 12-year-old Jack Russell mix, and Missy (also known as Tiny), an 8-year-old Chihuahua.
